What you will have at the endA working monitor and a saved baseline to compare future checks against.
Before you start
Choose one public page with readable text, such as a company news or careers page. You can start in a guest workspace without creating an account.
Pick one page that matters
Open your workspace and choose New monitor. Paste the page URL and choose Start watching. Quick setup suggests a monitor type from the page address, names the monitor, and runs the first public check. You can change the suggested type before saving.
Choose how to check it
Public pages use quick setup without an extension or website login. Choose Customize setup for keywords, a custom name, or a CSS selector. If the website needs a login or JavaScript, choose Use my browser and follow the optional browser-helper guide.
Save a starting point
Quick setup saves the monitor and runs its first check together. Review the result on the monitor detail page. A successful first capture becomes the baseline, without a detection. If the check needs attention, the monitor stays saved so you can retry or switch methods.
Return and compare
After the page changes, run another check. Each monitor has a one-minute cooldown. Open Detections to review matching changes, or look at the latest snapshot and run history on the monitor detail page. Manual checks run when you request them. Registered accounts can also choose hourly or daily public checks when the automatic-check service is enabled.
